Hand sculpted and painted one of a kind magical busó brooch. Made of clay and acrylics.
The Busó folklore festivities in Hungary celebrate the end of Winter and the beginning of Spring through different ancient symbolic rituals with pagan origins that provide magical protection and fertility. At this carnival people wear unique carved devil-masks and woolly cloaks to impersonate the mythical busó creatures. They build huge bonfires and burn the coffin of Winter.
These brooches can be symbolic helpers in providing protection, letting hard times go and welcoming growth in our lives at any time of the year.
Please don't wash it in water, just wipe it with a soft dry cloth if necessary. Dropping or scratching can damage the brooch.
